Pahi turned on a beautiful winter's morning for the official opening of the new Pahi playground on Saturday.
A great crowd of locals gathered to celebrate the completion with local kids enthusiastically testing out the new equipment.
A big thank you to -Joanne McFarlane (KDC) who designed the concept and managed the project.
Steve Sheriff and Jo Davies (Sheriff Building) who were involved in all aspects of the project including designing and building the bespoke play elements.
Jason Searle and Aaron (Downer Parks) who managed the installation of the play equipment and built the 30m long sea snake retaining wall/ balance walk.
Adam Perkinson (Huband Contractors) along with Richard, Zane and Logan for work on the bunds and challenging installations.
Karl Reynolds (campground manager) for working on ensuring the site will be practical for ongoing maintenance.
Finally thank you to the local community for allowing the temporary disruption. I'm sure local and visiting kids will enjoy this new play space for years to come.
