Went to check out the new Mangawhai Community Park signage this morning.
Four new sets of directional signage have been installed along the shared path network, making it easier for users to find their way between the many facilities, clubs and activity areas across the park.
The signs are located at the club entrance, behind the firestation, behind Mangawhai Activity Zone (MAZ), and at the Nautical Heights entrance. The signs were developed with input from the Friends of the Mangawhai Park, who worked with council staff on the sign locations and the information.
The new directional signs share a common design, colours and logos, matching the brand signage of the park.More signs including maps are planned to help people navigate the bush tracks.
